Use Gmail Account to Send Emails from Multiple Addresses.
1. Sign in to Gmail.
2. Click Settings and select the Accounts and Import tab.
3. Under Send mail as, click Add another email address.
4. In the 'Email address' field, enter your name and alternate email address.
5. Choose one of two options:
* Use Gmail's servers to send your mail (this is easier to set up)
* Use your other email provider's SMTP servers (we recommend this option for professional mail accounts or domains). Note for Google Apps users: Depending on your domain type, this feature may be disabled by default. Talk to your administrator if you have any questions.
* If you choose to use Gmail's servers:
6. Click Next Step >> and then click Send Verification. Gmail will send a verification message to your other email address to confirm that you own it.
7. Open your other account and either click the link in the message Gmail sent or enter the confirmation code in the Accounts section of your Gmail settings.
8. A Verification email will be sent to the address that you specify. Once you verify that you own the email address, it will be integrated to your Gmail account.
Now when you compose a new email, you’ll see an option to select from multiple address to send the mail. Also you’ll receive the incoming mails for multiple addresses to a single mailbox. I hope this will benefit you.
Before you leave, I should also tell you one good advantage of this. According to Gmail privacy policy, they will not send the user’s IP address in the outgoing emails. That means when you send an email from your Gmail account , the receiver will not be able to find out your IP address. But you don’t have this advantage in Yahoo or other email providers.
